Jax and Cain, from Tales of the Fatherless, an original series. (Jax is the one with the fluffy hair )

I haven't done a more traditional portrait-type painting for a while, since I've been so keen on doing different scenes! But these two deserved something just for them...and Jax in particular hasn't gotten a portrait debut yet. Sure, sure, half his face is covered up...but that doesn't matter. This painting is all about HIM, and Cain is just a prop. 

Why? Because he's the soulguard. It's an important thing to be, but hard to explain. It's related to that mark on Cain's neck, though. 

Also yes, Jax is missing his left pinky finger. :C That's what he gets for talking back to the wrong people.
