Merchant Prince

A young Cain Scarlon (perhaps 13 or 14?) showing his stuff in Vaelore back sometime before the chronological start of the series. Every rich kid needs a portrait, right? The joke is, if it were actually his 'portrait', he'd have a 'proper' hairstyle. Doesn't matter. He's cute when he's disheveled. 

Okay real talk, though. Now that I am looking at the thumbnail, it looks like an npc picture from some video game. Oops. /toolate

Cain's story has a long way to go from this point, both in physical distance and mental growth. It's a little therapeutic to paint him during the most stable time in his life, even though it isn't the happiest. 

AT LEAST HE ATE EVERY DAY :C 

Also I'm making this available to look at at a much larger size than usual, because i'm proud of the details ^^
